There is a small, free laundry available (soap provided), but try to get to it real early or later in the evening as there are only two washers and dryers.

Research the ports of call and do some exploring on your own. Most of the excursions are excellent but only give you a small taste of each port. What is nice is you don't have to stay with the group but can take off just make sure you are back in time before the ship leaves.
