I wouldn't suggest Rhapsody of the Seas if you are looking for great good and a lot of activities

Ship excursions start too early!

Do not go with any preconceived ideas just enjoy the trip

Older Ship, less bells and whistles. I was very disappointed that there was no lobster / filet mignon might as I have previously enjoyed on Royal Cruises. There was an option to pay $30a Person for an upgrade to lobster, which i was upset by. This is the main dining room. I expect first rate treatment, not nickel and diming me. Charge an extra $50 per person upfront and serve lobster one night!

Bring the 2 bottles of wine allowed per cabin. Drink can be costly. Know that the Cities you are visiting are sometimes an hour or longer to get there. Shufttles are available but can cost $18.00 a person.

Ask about service in your room such as maintenance, also know what is above you and below you.

I think Excursions may limit your ability to see things and shop with as much time as you need at most ports.

If you enjoy cocktails, purchase the unlimited beverage package prior to sailing at about half price with all top shelf drinks and coffees and quick no-sign service.

The ship is older and in some ways shows it.

For comfort and elegance, take most of your meals in the area you are assigned for dinner when it fits your schedule

It’s an old and worn ship, not many activities.
