Review summary

As previously stated I would give RCCL a C overall. With that said, being a Diamond Plus member, I have two more cruises booked on Royal which I can't get out of. I'm hoping this cruise was the exception since I can only tare it as average. From the customer service to exceptionally poor internet it was disappointing. Absolutely have to do more comparisons with Celebrity and Princess.

The food was simply ok at best. Portions and options have been greatly reduced in the main Dinning Room. The service in the main dinning room was mediocre at best.

There was a great concentration of entertainment aimed at the majority of the passengers who were mostly from San Juan.

The one bright star was our cabin attendant.

The cabin itself was overall very good for a ships its age. However, the internet was the worse I've ever had. We actually had to go into the hallway to use the internet efficiently.

The ship because of its size was very easy to navigate. That's a plus.

Try Celebrity. We prefer it to Royal. It is less kid focused, and the food is better.

I feel like post pandemic cruising is affecting all the cruise lines. I get it. It sure isn't what it used to be.
