Review summary

Crew was wonderful, always friendly, helpful, cheerful, hardworking, eager to engage in conversation when time permitted. Food was just right, buffet was always well kept. Weather was incredible for the 1st wk in May. Even the captain said best weather coming into Juneau May 10 he'd seen in 9 yrs of sailing in Alaska. Loved everything. Wanted to relax and not do too much & that's exactly what we did!~ Cant wait to book another w/Royal Carribean. Rest of my family was on Celebrity Millenium at the exact same time & did not have as good of a time as we had! Thanks to all!

Service and Staff

Each and every one of them were wonderful.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Excellent because of how the crew maintained it throughout the cruise, could use some updating, but overall was just fine.

Cabin / Stateroom

Very well kept, completely sufficient to our needs. once again, could use a little updating, but im not complaining too much.

Ports of call

Ketchikan, Alaska

Loved Ketchikan, But our Salmon/Halibut fishing trip got cancelled b/c of rough seas. That's okay tho, B/c Dad & brother didnt catch any day b4 so we probably wouldnt either. Fish Hatchery was interesting but too short for $24 each.
Don't Miss: It Should be the Salmon fishing but maybe in june or later, not May.

Juneau, Alaska

Weather was awesome. Booked private Whale Watching. Couldnt have been better. Juneau was alot larger than i expected, But beautiful.
Don't Miss: Harv & Marv's whale watching.

Skagway, Alaska

Beautiful! Train trip to only went to Summit this early in May, But well worth the 3 1/2 hrs. Longer might have been too long. Shopping was fun. Smaller Town than Juneau, so liked it alot.
Don't Miss: White Pass Train Trip.

Pros: Everything went textbook perfect from the excellent weather for the first wk of May, to the excellent and attentive crew.

Cons: Cant say one bad thing about it. The ship could use a little tlc, but the crew kept it as immaculate as possible for a 13 yr old ship.
