Review summary

The ship was a perfect size to accommodate our needs. Not too large to get lost but not too small to be cramped. Daily activities were well planned however the tours offered require some fine tunning as time allocated was insufficient in most ports and unnecessary stops were made along the way. Overnight excursions listed as two day trips were in fact barely one full day. Hotels offered on the overnight excursions were excellent. It was an extremely aggressive trip in that there were a number of ports which perhaps could have been included on another trip or this trip could have been extended by at least two days. It was however, an wonderful experience and certainly provided us with destinations that we are likely to return to in the not too distant future. Viet Nam was a true experience and one not to be missed.

Ports of call

Hue (Da Nang), Vietnam

5 out of 5
While we didn't visit Da Nang we took an excursion to Hoi An. This port was great. A touch of old Viet Nam. Small streets, outstanding shopping and outrageous restaurants

Laem Chabang (Bangkok), Thailand

5 out of 5
It all a must see. Overnight is highly recommended.
Don't Miss: All of the temples

Sihanoukville, Cambodia

This port was average at best. In order to properly see Cambodia a trip to Angor Wat should be added to the cruise otherwise this particular port holds no appeal
Don't Miss: There are nonoe

Vung Tau (Ho Chi Minh City), Vietnam

5 out of 5
Overnight is a must. Wonderful restaurants, great shopping See it all. Don't miss a thing

Nha Trang, Vietnam

5 out of 5
Don't miss the beaches in this picturesque port. The restaurant and seafood are outstanding

Hai Phong (Hanoi), Vietnam

5 out of 5
The Hanoi Hilton but it must be viewed with an open mind. Another overnight absolutely necessary.
