Rhapsody of the Seas

7 Night Western Caribbean (Galveston Roundtrip)

Sail date: May 07, 2006

Ship: Rhapsody of the Seas

Cabin type: Oceanview

Traveled as: Family (older children)

Review summary

The ship was on the whole well maintained. However the sink in our cabin had cracks around the drain. The mattresses were thin and hard. The food in the main dining room was excellent. Our waiter knew which dishes were the best and I enjpyed his recommendations. We appriciated the chance to buy a reasonable wine package which we enjoyed with our dinners, Since we like to read, we always check out the ship's library. Unfortunately half the shelves were empty, there wasn't a librarian and the books were old and in poor condition.

Typical tourist shops. Unattracive town with a great many banks.

Cozumel, Mexico

Cosumel is still recovering from the hurricanw, however there were some intersting local shops to visit and the people were friendly.
