Review summary

We have travelled on the Regatta four times and the Ship , the Crew and the outstanding food are always outstanding. We have travelled Crystal and we were certainly impressed with that Ship and thought that a smaller Ship like Regatta would not be able to compete. We were dead wrong about those impressions and within 24 hours of being on Regatta we were overwhelmed by the warmth of the staff, the relaxed atmosphere, the outstanding food and just the general feeling of being home that Regatta provided. There was not the "stuufy" attitude of the larger Ships and Regatta's ..Your world -Your way says it ALL. Just FABU:OUS !

Entertainment

We are early to bed travellers so we did not attend the 9:30 pm Performances consistently. Those that we did attend were both very good and good.

Children's Programs

On our trips there were few Children. Only one Cruise stands out in the Summer from Istanbul to the Greek Isles. On that Cruise there were some Children . I am not certain about Children's programs that are offered.

Cabin / Stateroom

First time in this type of Cabin as we had been waitlisted for a Penthouse. To my surprise we were very comfortable. Did miss the outdoor lanai but in future Cruises pending the weather and the time of the year the value of travelling in a lower class of service is surprisingly comfortable. The Staff commented to me that all the beds are the same and when thinking about how often we used the outside Lanai we have to question the need. The smaller quarters did demand a more efficient plan to store our things.
