Review summary

We loved Princess before Carnival bought it and this is first sailing since that occurred. Bottom line is everything is average now nothing is spectacular like the old days. This won’t matter for new cruisers who don’t know the difference

Carnival bought Princess over 20 years ago. Nothing is ever as good as the good old days. That’s why they are called the good old days.

Appreciate your view, but carnival acquired princess a number of years ago show the comparison does not hold up over that amount of time

Other reviews of this sailing

Overpriced, annoying constant advertising, entertainment amateur. Price quoted misleading — have to purchase expensive land tours in order to see anything except views of commercial working ports ( not scenic). Port excursions double actual cruise cost.
