Review summary

Was on the Regal last year at Christmas as well. This year the Regal was a few steps behind across the board. Would sail the Regal again and hope for a better experience. We are Elite on Princess but maybe stone to explore other cruise lines.

This particular class of ship is certainly not my favorite design but not much can be done about that. The promenade deck (7) is a huge disappointment and the design of the space by the pool. We like to watch outdoor movies but that can only be done in good weather due to the design of the overhangs. On other ships you can be protected from the rain and still see the movie screen. You cannot on the Regal and that class of ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was in need of some TLC. Shower and sink drains did not drain very well. Reported without success several times. The balcony was in desperate need of cleaning and painting.
