Review summary

We enjoyed this cruise once we got our room situation fixed. I wish that Princess would have reimbursed us for the poor room experience for the first day and a half. We were miserable due to the temperature and could not sleep. We spent a lot of time going back and forth to guest services to get help and complain with no resolution.

Our cabin AC was broken and we lost a day and a half due to dealing with that. They finally moved us to another much nicer room (E219) - that room was the bomb. We loved it. E309 also had a broken toilet. It was all around terrible.

Ship tip

Use the app to find your way around the ship. It is very helpful. It will help you get from here to there. Also it is very nice in helping you find other members of your party on the boat.

We rented an ATV on our own and road around the island because we had to cancel our horseback excursion bc you changed the weight limit on it and my husband who is 6'5" no longer qualified. That sucked but we enjoyed the ATV ride.

Our favorite place - we did not do an excursion. We just liked the water here right at the dock. Loved doing the snorkling.

I agree with Willwork4cruz. We will probably never go on a ship with water slides and zip lines. We go for the ocean cruising, being able to see the ocean from just about anywhere and just relaxing and having fun. You want water slides and zip lines go on Royal Caribbean or Norwegian.

Thanks for the review but I hope Princess doesn't put waterslides and roller-coasters on their ships. Many people sail on Princess because they don't. There is a cruiseline for all types of experiences but none of them can do it all and do it well at the same time.
