Review summary

This cruise itinerary was a perfect blend of port and sea days. The more I cruise the more I find that I enjoy the time at sea with the wide variety of onboard activities and even more for the chance to just read on my balcony.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Medallion and Ocean Ready made this a breeze

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
I travel alone and enjoyed the flexibility to dine with others or not. I particularly enjoyed the International Cafe and Alfredos

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
I never lacked for something to do. I particularly enjoyed the music in the piazza, the art auctions and the daily puzzles in the library. I was a bit disappointed at the crowded feeling in the Enclave. I had hoped to be able to enjoy this space more often but found the heat therapy beds and the spa pool with waiting lines.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Loved the shows and the variety of entertainment options

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
I was very pleased with the friendliness of staff who seemed to provide just the right amount of attention.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
I found the ship to be clean and comfortable. I heard some passengers complaining of the crowded elevators but I prefer to use the stairs so I cannot comment on that.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The room was spotless and the bedding very comfortable. I enjoyed many restful moments on the balcony with a book.

Ship tip

If you want to take advantage of the Sanctuary, board ship as early as possible and head immediately to there to make your reservations. Spaces sell out very fast.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)

5 out of 5
This is one of my favorite stops. The beach is a bit rocky so swim shoes are recommended. I rented a clamshell and was able to enjoy a very wonderful day.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

5 out of 5
I like St Thomas and have visited many times. This visit I took an excursion to go ziplining. Loved it.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

5 out of 5
St Maarten is my favorite island in the Caribbean so far. I joined an excursion to the Flying Dutchman. Excellent time.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
i was able to self disembark and was through customs and back to my post cruise hotel in time for breakfast.
