Ship: Regal Princess

Traveled as: Family (young children)

Review summary

Nice trip. Geared toward older crowd (65+). Need more energy on the ship. Entertainment should not be elevator roulette. Food was disappointing. Cruises with Princess multiple times and this may be the last.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
Buffet food wasn’t good. Too much International food and not enough “American” food. Breakfast was always good. Food quality isn’t nearly as good as it used to be.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
Not nearly enough and most of what was offered was dumb. Kids enjoyed the basketball court. That’s about it.

Entertainment

2 out of 5
Only saw the comedian. He was excellent. There were only 2 shows and he was gone. Nothing else to report. Again, quality has gone down.

Children's Programs

4 out of 5
Good for 9 year old, boring for 12 year old.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Good service from all, but not enough of them.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Easy to navigate. Very pretty ship

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin was great. 4 of us with bunks. It was tight in the evening when bunks came down, but worked fine. This is a handicap room. I need it for the shower due to balance troubles. This room was perfect.
