Well started off with delay in flights and lost luggage, but Princess made our new year wonderful. We booked air through princess ezair,they were in contact with airline, they realized I was without luggage, which contained new year dresses, compensated us $150 provided toiletries and picked up luggage in Jamaica (3rd day) and delivered to my room.

Main dining concerto, symphony, was not as pleasurable as the Allegro. The staff was overworked running across the ship to keep all passengers happy, first day , food was cold, took 45 minutes to get glass merlot. I spoke to the Concerto maitre d and was told there were many passengers and we would have to wait. I explained, that there was no table setting, our steward was exhausted can he get additional resources and basically said does not matter. The Allegro was the total opposite, they were pleasant, attentive, concerned and offered options if something was not to our liking, enough staff to cover the tables, it was a management issue. The buffet was always fresh new offerings, lots of variety, one of the best buffets I have ever experienced on a cruise.

The ship was elegant, clean love the vibe of elegance and fun. The pools, were really crowded, unable to get a chair at 9am, and was told by an attendant should have chosen a less busy cruise. That was my only disappointment. On port days we stayed on ship and there was plenty of pool space enjoyed the movies as well. The
Piazza entertainment was great and enjoyed all the music venues, contests, international cafe and all attendants seemed to enjoy what they do and were really interested in knowing their passengers. I did enjoy the spa, and enclave.

Sail on a non holiday, do not risk sailing same day fly in,and request room with better matresses
Falmouth port is beautiful, the shore excursion was a tubing activity which was so much fun, but since we booked through shoreexcursions.com, the rep ended up combining three different excursions into one bus, which for us, meant waiting for those to finish their excursions while we wait on bus, we were hoping to go do something else or go back to ship early and what was supposed to be a 2 hour excursion turned into an all day bus ride, not happy will follow up with shoreexcursions on this.
