Review summary

Overall, the only disappointment was the staff on this itinerary. We are usually very spoiled on Princess. The staff was very lax and not the friendliest. They weren’t horrible, just not up to what we have come to expect. I wouldn’t let it stop me from traveling with Princess. The itinerary was wonderful and I would recommend to everyone.

We left our hotel at 10:15 and we were on the ship by 11:05. It was wonderful!

We aren’t much for joining activities as we go for family time. The few things we did, we enjoyed very much.

Entertainment

We were spoiled on Majestic with one of the best bands at sea. We did enjoy the house band on this cruise. Icon was much better than the band from our first cruise on Regal.

Children's Programs

The kids club was much better on the ship this time. Last time it was spring break and very crowded. My son only went twice. This time, with only 8 kids in his age group, we couldn’t keep him out.

Service and Staff

I found the staff to be much more lax on this cruise from our previous Princess cruises. We didn’t have a single person go above and beyond this time around.
