Just got back from a wonderful 25 day Northern Europe/Cross Atlantic cruise and loved every minute of it. The ports were perfect choices, only wish we had a little extra time in them. We had a loss of power due to some glitch switching from port power to ship power. Power was restored immediately but there was an old fashioned confirmation that everyone was on board, it affected the ship's computer system. This was done efficiently and promptly. It did however, shorten our visit to Glasgow though. Couldn't be helped. Ship is clean, comfy and has a terrific staff. We also had a passenger who had a medical emergency and EVERYONE responded professionally and quickly to save that person's life. I must commend the entire staff in this event. These events are what make this ship great. All personnel know their jobs and perform them well. The ship is clean and has a well designed layout. Our stateroom, a balcony, was quite comfortable and clean. We also had the best stewardess, Christina. Food and drink are great as was the entertainment. The performers, shore excursion staff, bar staff are simply marvelous. A nice surprise was the internet. It cost just $9.99/day and is very good. It's part of the new Ocean Medallion service being tested on the ship. Tap your card to pay for goods and services. Hope they keep this. I for one am tired of paying a fortune for the internet on a ship.Embarkation
