Review summary

We had a great cruise on the Regal Princess. The entertainment was excellent and we really enjoyed all the shows. The Mexican folklore show was beautiful but the music was a bit repetitious.

The main dining room food and service was great. The buffets service was good and the food provided a great variety. But some of the qualities were average. The choice of desserts were not as much choice as before but it's still delicious.

Excellent. Working towards perfection on every cruise we took. Again, an excellent job for the entertainment department.

The ship's layout and design were good, but sometimes confusing as to which direction to go. The common areas were cleaned and well-maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

This is the first time we booked an obstructed view room. We booked this room because we went with 2 other couples and wanted to be next to each other. We did not care for it and probably would not book one again. The bathroom smelled and we didn't like the toilet paper. I think the bathroom smelled because of the toilet system, not the cleanliness of the bathroom.
