I would recommend this ship to anyone who wants to be catered to and pampered. The staff is wonderful the ship is so gorgeous also. The speciality restaurants are so worth the extra charge. I’ve never eaten food like that before. The Lotus Spa is sooooo overpriced though! I would never do that again. It was an amazing experience but really expensive. We only did it because it was our 25th anniversary.

Food and Dining

We ate our 25th Anniversary dinner at The Crown Grill dining room and we were both blown away. I had the best lamb chops I’ve ever eaten. The presentation was beautiful! All the dining rooms are gorgeous but the Crown is dark and stunning. We did anytime dining this time which I won’t do again. I love the flexibility of it, but the one on one with your waitstaff every night was missed.
Sea View Bar

We loved loved loved this pool side bar and their kick ass bartenders. Especially Vladimir from Serbia. He was so polite, funny, adorable and did amazing flair bartending which I totally love. They also had a flair bartending show on our last day at sea. I recommend getting there early as it fills up fast.

Clean, bed was soooo comfortable but you should know there is a giant life boat under your balcony. Love the upgrade of the huge flat screens on the walls since the last time I cruised. That’s a bonus. And the selection of movies is incredible.
There is so much more to,this island than the last time I was here 5 years ago. It’s clean, plenty of chairs for everyone, lots of beach area and some shopping too. There’s a beach bar that’s super fun too and they have a band play all day.
He cruise port is gorgeous but outside that ports gated area is shady!!! We made it about 2 blocks and bought 2 red stripes from a guy on the corner for $5 (super good deal) and walked right back to the ship. We were hounded by people trying to sell us stuff and excursions and drugs. I didn’t feel safe at all! I’m so glad we spent the day on the ship because there were hardly any passengers onboard. It was the best day ever! Poolside chairs, drinks in seconds, no waiting for food.
Beautiful, clean, great shopping in a cute town, people only bothered you when you got off the ship. Good restaurants within walking distance. I felt safe here.
Everything is so far away on this island. Cabs are outrageously expensive!! $120 to go to the other side of the island which is like 11 miles across and up and over another 15 miles. He did wait for us everywhere we went but I’m pretty sure we paid his rent for the month with that fare. I did not feel safe here when we first started on our cab ride. Like I said, you see signs for resorts but you don’t actually see the resorts and then all,of the sudden you are at a bar. Once we talked with other people at different bars i realized we were fine. We went to Rasta’s, Coconuts and a few places in the cruise port. We had a fun day but it was really expensive! Mexico isn’t like it used to be.
