Review summary

I did notice a drop in the quality of food since I last cruised with the Princess line. The milk was served in individual containers before and also the butter and jelly. The jelly is in a big bowl along with the syrup and butter, the milk is in a pitcher. Salt & pepper shakers were not in the buffet. The service was wonderful, my only complaint was the food.

Embarkation

5 out of 5

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
I haven’t cruised since 2006 on Princess. I noticed a big change in their dinner selections in the main dining room (not for the better). The buffet was very large but the set up was confusing. I didn’t eat in the specialty restaurants.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Trivia, golf, basketball, yes we enjoyed them. Need more activities when docked, not everyone gets off ship.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Most were very good.

No you don’t see jelly packets and milk cartons at fancy restaurants, but you are served your own individual helping. It wasn’t very appealing dipping into a big bowl of jelly. The sugar free was placed next to it in a smuckers jar with a spoon. I would much rather have individual packets.

Less packaging is better for the environment

I think as far as the individual containers, Princess is trying to make it more classy. You don't see jelly packets and cafeteria style milk cartons at fancy restaurants. I don't know which costs more though.
