Review summary

Enjoyed the trip overall. The ship is beautiful and is very well taken care of by the staff. Dolphin deck 9 is a good location if you can climb steps. I liked the New England and Canada, but won't visit it by ship again. Would take it tothe other locations.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Enjoyed my dinning experience. 6 o'clock time is actually at 5:30. Liked everything but the lobster/shrimp night. The food was over cooked. Buffet food area was clean, great selection of food, loved the fresh fruit. Buffet line needs a directional line. It was crowded at times. Did not like the pizza at the pool area. Liked the pizza inside the ship.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
The fitness center was clean and had lots of equipment to use.

Entertainment

Loved every show. Very talented people on the ship.

Service and Staff

Loved my waiters in Allegro dinning area. The Supervisor was great.

Ship Quality

Amazingly clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

The room was clean, could have been vacuumed better during the week. The bathroom reaction of being small vanished after my first shower. The water pressure was beyond amazing. My husband liked the firm bed, the balcony was a nice size. Found plenty of room to put our clothes.

Ship tip

Take advantage of the movie nights and cuddle up using the blankets provided.

Ports of call

New York, New York Did not visit port

Stayed at friends house instead.

Newport, Rhode Island

Walked around the port. Cute town. Talked with other cruisers and they liked the house tours and the Breakers.

Boston, Massachusetts

Found the Freedom tour boring at times. Went to see the Constitution ship, which was closed on Mondays. Ubered back to the ship.

Bar Harbor, Maine

5 out of 5
Most amazing place to visit. Can't wait to go back. If you go, walk from the Sandy beach along the coast line. Use the free bus system connected to the park system. You do have to pay 12 dollars to get into Acadia park. Worth it.

Saint John, New Brunswick

Took a boat tour with Bob. Learned a lot about the area. Went to market place and had the best Korean food. Worse problem with the area was the confusion with the money. When I bought something, American money a dollar, Canadian money was a 1.25. Very confusing.

Halifax, Nova Scotia

Waiting to go back. Biggest negative was arriving at 2. Only could do 1 excursion or event. Most things closed at 5. Did the duck trip on land and water. A great tour. There is so much to do around town.

Disembarkation

We took our luggage off the ship quickly and easy. Flew through customs with ease. We will always do it this way.
