Review summary
I cruised with my mom. We've cruised on another line prior to this. We thought that this cruise line would be higher class and better food and entertainment. The food on the cruise was bland and very rarely hot. The food in the Crown Grille was good and hot, wish the desserts in Horizon Buffet were as good as here.
Most of the staff was friendly. The waiters and bartenders were slow on the beverages and since mom and I had beverage packages, it seemed like they avoided us. The Unlimited beverage package is a pain to have, maybe they do it that way so you don't drink as much. The last straw was when I realized that I had received 15 bed bug bites at the end of the cruise. When I approached the Passenger Services rep (Ricardo) he talked down to me as to why I didn't report it with the 1st bite. Well we had been at port a few days and I just figured they were mosquito bites but when more showed up after a day at sea, I knew they weren't mosquito bites.
