Review summary
From the moment we boarded service was generally excellent, entertainment was superb and the food was fantastic. Given the increased number of platinum and elite guests, Princess needs to look into allocating more help to preferred boarding. There was a long line at preferred and no wait in the regular boarding line. Regal is a large ship and despite everyone congregating inside because of the cold and windy weather the venues did not feel overly crowded except at shows. I do miss the central staircase and the wrap-around Promenade deck. We had a sideways inside cabin on this cruise and it was the quietest cabin ever with plenty of storage space.
In my opinion the Captain made a great call in reversing the order of ports because of the weather. We would have probably missed St. John if he had not made this decision.
We chose Princess excursions on this cruise and were really glad we did. The guides were excellent and very organized.

I was on the earlier cruise and unfortunately the captain made a very bad judgment call to leave early from Bar Harbor Maine, which he later apologized for error in judgment, then skipping St John's which was a big disappointment to me. Don't know if you had the same captain, but you were lucky to get to see it
