I remember having trouble finding my dining room the first time I sailed on a ship with three dining rooms. Luckily there was always a staff member close by to help me find where I needed to go.

Problematic as in how? A lot of Princess ships have Three dining rooms, 2 for traditional and 1 for anytime dining. If you didn't know which dining room to go to for the type of dining you had selected you didn't read the daily Princess Patter. Not s fault of the cruise line.
