Review summary

Like we said dozens of times on the trip -- The airlines can learn a LOT from cruises.  On arrival day, there was a mixup at the airport because the shuttle driver didn't have our name on her list for transfer to the pier.  No biggie.  She fixed that and we were on our way.  From the moment we were met by our room steward and throughout the cruise, we were made to feel like royalty - everyone passenger on the ship was.  Every meal, including the buffet was loaded with gourmet high-class food, not your everyday mall buffet.  Dinners were especially elegant with the entire staff from the head waiter all the way to the busboys were professional, courteous and attentive.  In fact, the entire 1,040 crew members were all as attentive and more than 100% accommodating.  Whether or not we were asking a routine "where's the dining room" question or asking specifics about how the ship worked, everyone had answers.  Everything was completely organized and not a single step was missed.  Even when there were situations that got in the way of the smooth running of the ship, it was handled in stride and didn't affect the overall cruise at all. And our Steward.... I got sea sick one night on our cruise and she went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and advise us of what would help me feel better. She was such an incredible person and became like family by the end of our cruise.
