Review summary

Fall is such a beautiful time to travel, but we were greatly disappointed. Last two cruises on RC were good. What happened? Is it this ship? This itinerary?

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Embarkation was quick and effortless. We were off to a good start.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
Although the food in the main dining room was better, none of the food was hot. Not breakfast. Not lunch. not dinner. Buffet food was tepid at best and cooed before you could sit down. It looked okay but was generally tasteless, overcooked and cold.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
Very few fun activities during the day. Very lackluster, and of the cheapest variety. No wine tastings, bourbon tastings, ship tours, or other activities for adults. Lots of trivia contests.

Entertainment

We did not attend.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Good enough but not great. Not what we expected.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Clean, for the most part, but the ship needs a refurbish.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Our steward was excellent.

Ship tip

We would not recommend this ship. This is our third time with Royal Caribbean, and frankly I was very surprised at the lackluster product. Even cheap hotels give customers shampoo, conditioner, lotion and other toiletries. We got a bar of soap and shower/shampoo combination. It was sub-par.

It took over 5 hours for people to get off the ship. Why just two tenders???

Disembarkation

Why give people a time to disembark, then make them stand in line for over 90 minutes?
