Review summary

This was a wonderful cruise on a wonderful ship. Weather was rainy in ports but we were prepared! Some saw Northern Lights near Juneau, unfortunately we slept through them- darn.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
Once we were checked through, they made hundreds of us wait in a large room only letting a few in at a time. I wasn’t happy with their method of deciding who was going to go on to the ship first- ugh

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
As always, Chops is our favorite place to eat. It didn’t disappoint! Lunch is much less expensive than dinner and just as good selection. Buffets were always offering fresh fruit until the end of the cruise. Went to Main dining room only once. Menus were underwhelming. French onion soup only twice and crème brûlée once.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
At our age we didn’t participate in dancing, fitness centers etc. Hot tub in the Solarium too small and wasn’t hot enough.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Worst comedian I’ve ever heard… Shows were interesting. New cruise director very visible.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our cabin attendant, Lucky, was always there. Room immaculate- probably the best in our 13+ cruises. Excellent service from Concierge’s in Concierge Lounge and in Diamond Lounge.

Ship Quality
