Our Panama Canal cruise was a great follow up to our Mediterranean cruise last year. It was very different and presented us with new places to explore and new ways to vacation. As most of this cruise were sea days, the ship played a larger role in our vacation. What I discovered was an excellent ship with an excellent crew who genuinely loved the guests and worked hard for them. I thought it was perhaps the best crew I have experienced to date. Major kudos for all the hands that went into making this such a special experience. I highly recommend the Radiance for the ship and crew alone, but the Panama Canal is also a must see!

This was a very impressive cruise staff. I have been on many cruises but this could have been the best crew I have seen. There was such a sense of love and family.

Cabin / Stateroom

It was perfect for my wife and me. A place to hang our hats while we weren't out doing the many things you can do on a cruise.
Ship tip
Take your lunches on the back part of the Windjammer which is outside. There's nothing like the sea breeze during breakfast.
This was the highlight of our trip which surprised me because I thought it would be the ports. But this was, after all, a Panama Canal cruise. It was an amazing experience.
The Los Angeles port felt a bit chaotic and it wasn't clear exactly where we were supposed to go. I even ended up in the wrong line and lost all my progress waiting. The customs felt a bit slow and others in the line commented that this was incredibly slow and inefficient compared to other ports.
