You will want to avoid cruising from this city if at all possible due to parking nightmares, rampant crime and a very bad inefficient port authority. You can trust me on this or you can learn the hard way.

it is well below average it is very gross actually Sketchy crimey diseasy and depressingly poverty ridden I would not want to go back I will want to avoid cruises with this port on the itinerary.

Glad you enjoyed The Radiance. We’re thinking of booking an Alaska cruise on her as well. I agree on Progresso, and would stay on the ship if we ever docked there again. Also agree on New Orleans. We live 32 miles from the port, but refuse to go into the city anymore because of the crime. However, we will drive to the New Orleans International Airport to fly to another cruise port!
