Review summary

We paid full price for all of the ships venues to be operational and the fact that the buffet and many bars were closed which affected our cruise greatly made us feel we did not get what we paid for. The green untrained, unorganized crew were unable to help us as they did not know what was going on. We should get a refund for this cruise. We signed up and paid for a cruise visiting Santa Barbara, one of our favorite places and it did not happen. This will be our last cruise as my husband's health prohibits us from cruising and it was very disappointing. The information given from RCL stated that to fly from Vancouver to Seattle we need a negative covid test within 48 hours. The ship did not offer this service and the internet so poor we were forced to do it at the airport which was expensive and time consuming causing us to miss our flight. As it was this information from RCL was also false as the test was not required......

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
The Windjammer buffet and many bars were closed. My husband is disabled and tired in the PM, sitting for a 2.5 hour meal is unreasonable, we usually grab something and he goes to bed early. we were forced to go to the dining room where service was very poor. Raw prime rib that the waiter argued with us about and artificial BUTTER! We were very disappointed. Have cruised many times and this was the WORSE dining room experience.

Onboard Activities

The first trivia we attended the staff person's lap top that she was using to do the Trivia battery died and the game canceled. This was how so much of the trip went with a totally green crew.

Entertainment

Did not attend

Service and Staff

Unorganized, uneducated, incorrect information, they argued with us regarding things we had been told that they said was wrong.

Ship Quality

There was a piece of metal and screw loose in the main walkway in front of the Schooner Bar that stuck up and was dangerous. Corners etc. dirty looked like they had not been cleaned in years. Not what we expected.

Cabin / Stateroom

We were told to go to the conference center to get wheel chair assistance and be out of our stateroom by 8:30, there was no one there, the room full of chairs, the announcement then said to wait in your stateroom. Totally unorganized.
