A++++++++ SUPER GREAT

Sail Date: October 30, 2010

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Suite

This was our first cruise and I checked out MANY reviews on Cruise Lines and ships to choose. Royal kept coming up the most as the type we would enjoy. It was superb. Will probably cruise now more than going to a resort. Radiance of the Seas was beautiful. There wasn't ANYTHING that was a problem from the moment we got to the port till we departed the port on the last day. Left from Tampa to Cozemel and Costa Maya and all I can say is WOW and PERFECT.

Pros: Romantic, Smooth sailing, everything to do, rooms, views, people

Cons: ONLY Problem is Internet access and cost to use phones and Internet

Recommends Radiance of the Seas? Yes!

Ship Quality
The ship was in excellent shap for being 9 years old and gone on many cruises. Very easy to find everything after one full day on board
Food and Dining
The Windjammer was superb. So much to choose from and eat and always able to find a table.
Cabin / Stateroom
We stayed in an Owners Suite, 1064, and it was HUGE and clean and romantic with plenty of drawers ands closets and a HUGE Bathroom. The Bed was so comfortable and we were midship and felt like we were on land the whole time by never feeling any movement.
Service and Staff
VIc our steward was great from the moment we met him after arriving at our rooms at 1:00 PM the first day. Our Concierge, Georgina was real helpful through-out the entire cruise in getting things arranged and so pleasent each day
Entertainment
Shows, Bingo, Dance leasons, Karaoke, casino, etc were all excellent......no complaints
Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
Went on Single ATV excursion and it was GREAT a must do. A+++++
Don't Miss: ATV and Beach excursion
Cozumel, Mexico
Went and did Helmet diving and it was GREAT. My wife does not swim but still was able to put the helmet on and go 20' below and walk with the fishes. Everyone has to try this
Don't Miss: HELMET DIVE
