Review summary

The voyage was outstanding from start to finish, Cunard truly offer the luxurious white star service. See comments under each category.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Efficient. We had priority embarkation and a separate Queens Grill check in. Definitely removes the stress of check in.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The Queens Grill Restaurant is a lovely intimate venue with outstanding food and impeccable service throughout, the waiters get to know your preferences and they help you to have the best QG experience.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We didn’t really use the pools, the Queens Grill terrace was fantastic as it really offered an element of luxury and a private area. Afternoon Tea in the Queens Room is a must on Cunard, we always have afternoon tea in this room rather than in QG as it’s a great experience.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The theatre shows in the Royal Court were outstanding, the performers were excellent. The singers were good but not outstanding.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The service in QG was outstanding from embarkation to disembarkation. The restaurant staff were helpful and they provided excellent tailored service. Our butler was very friendly, he was helpful and he couldn’t do enough for us. Every crew member we encountered offered friendly and helpful service.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Queen Victoria is definitely luxurious and it really does replicate the traditional ocean liners in a modern cruise liner, the ship is magnificent throughout. The ship is extremely clean and well maintained. Queen Victoria is easy to navigate.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Carpathia Suite (master suite). Extremely spacious and well thought out. The suite is luxurious and comfortable at the same time. Worth the extra money. Our butler was outstanding.
