Queen Mary 2

17 Night Transatlantic Eastbound & Liverpool Salute (New York To Southampton)

Sail date: May 10, 2015

Ship: Queen Mary 2

Cabin number: 5038

Traveled as: Singles/Friends

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Review summary

Cunard is overcharging singles which makes travelling with them out of the question .  the trip was extremely overpaid for the services they provided, starting with cabin stewards being overworked because of personnel cuts, the food was good but not up to the former standards, the tours while very pricey were not very good, the cabins show the 11 years of the vessel.  All in all, I will no longer travel Cunard because I can do it for much less with Princess for the same type of voyage.

For having paid a huge amount, the cabin was not too good, except for the almost amidships location.

She shows the !! years of service; the cabins are not fresh looking
