I guess technically the Yanks do own the ship! 😉. We sailed Queen Elizabeth in 2017 and loved every minute of it. We have since done a Royal Caribbean cruise and the difference was substantial. Cunard understand how the English like to do things.

Have sailed both the QE and Victoria. Preferred QE but still both wonderful ships. I love the formality of Cunard 😊

We loved our cruise on the QE... There were plenty of Americans on our cruise and for the most part they were absolutely delightful... Don’t think ‘ignorance or rudeness’ is a nationality thing (although Presidentially the US maybe undermines that belief)... Not sure that ‘class’ has any creditable place on any cruise ship these days... We had 2mths on the QE and loved it so much that we booked a similar length cruise on the QM2... It is certainly an adult ship...

Well, MS Queen Elizabeth is in Cunard’s fleet, which is owned by Carnival Corporation, which is headquartered in Florida, which is led by the American, Micky Arison. Seems like the Yanks DO own the ship!!!
