Review summary

As a whole, taking account of the duration, ratio of days at sea and ports of call, choosing the Cunard Queen Elizabeth was the good choice for us. We wanted to be impressed, to relax, to spoil ourselves and we did achieve our goal!..... We will be back!!

Embarkation

3 out of 5
In Capetown, the process of embarkation is off-site of the actual terminal at the docks. It is situated near by but is congested area (road traffic). Arriving by taxi, it was simply chaotic, no parking at the entrance, but round the corner where departing buses were located. The incoming and outgoing traffic just collided. When finally we got a porter and entered the hall, things started to take shape and organization kicked in! The Cunard staff did a good job to streamline to process and eventually transport us by coach us to the ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The Britannia (main dining room) menu was excellent with efficient service, The Lido relax, functional and not too crowded (Love the sushi and decadent deserts!!!).The Verandah was memorable!

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Never took the time to analyze the daily schedule, it was packed with activities but overwhelming to digest. The cruise for us was a time to relax and so we did!
