Review summary

If you want to visit and see some highlights of all the islands this is a great way to do it. Approaching from the sea is lovely. The cruise is fine but not spectacular. For the price it should be better. But it is Hawaii!!

Nice fitness center; onboard activities were much more limited than on other cruises since there were no sea days. Should have more beginning mid afternoon.

Entertainment

The quality of the two performers (a comedian and an illusionist) were good but the comedian performed 3 nights and the illusionist performed 2 nights. There should be more variety of programs. Seemed to be a low priority for the ship. The duo that sang Hawaii songs every afternoon was excellent.

High marks to the waiters and room stewards. They worked very hard to please, especially when our cruise broke down and many customers were unhappy.

Clean and comparable to other cruises. There were no free tv programs or news channels. The only thing available were pay to view movies. A little news or sports would be nice.

Ship tip

If you want a good steak and don't care about the Steakhouse ambiance, the complementary dining room offers steaks from the Steakhouse for a modest upcharge ($20 for a filet mignon). Same steak for far less money.
