Review summary

Ship in need of refurbishment and update. WIFI should be available for NCL app while on board to check schedule and activity. Needs More entertainment and shows.

Main dining room food was ok. Aloha Cafe Buffet was better. East meets west awful, Everything was way to salty. Cadillac Diner was good.

Really thought Pride OF America would have had better shows. I've been on other NCL cruises and their shows left a very good impression. Very disappointed with this one. Also, They need to do a sounds system update! The sounds for their dj and musician sounded very poor. The band played well just the sound system needs work.

Service from our waiters, room stewards was good.

Ship really needs to be updated! Some decks constantly smelled like sewer!! The crew tried their best on maintaince.

Cabin / Stateroom

cabin was ok. Bath shower water constantly leaked out of shower. Had to get extra towels to soak up water. Poor design.

Ship tip

Do your own research. Hawaii is expensive overall. Don't expect Pride of America to be the same as Caribbean cruises! No casinos since gambling is prohibited in Hawaii, no alcohol sold in giftshops, no fancy production shows. Definetly Cannot be compared to Caribbean cruises.

Wish they would sail along the napali coast again. Going that far and not sailing along the most beautiful piece of the island is a big disappointment!
