Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

Enjoyed this cruise. Saw four major islands. Extra days in Oahu before the cruise is a plus. I know this cruise got mixed reviews. I found the staff very attentive, the food good, the large balcony stateroom clean and enough room. The entertainment was top rate as were the activities. You basically are on the ship only at night. There are several dining options. We ate mostly in Skyline dining room. Men can wear shorts and same menu as Liberty dining room. Buffet was good but I would rather sit down and be served. You can order double entree or appetizers if you want. There was enough choice. East meets west dining room needs reservation and I would suggest making one.

Cabin / Stateroom
Large enough
Embarkation and Disembarkation
Ship Quality
Destinations and Excursions
Wide choice.
Onboard Activities
Enough to do
Children's Programs Didn't travel with children so can't judge this
Entertainment
Every show and comedian was excellent.
Service and Staff
Very attentive
Food and Dining
There there are many options so even fussy person should be satisified
Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii
Very busy and crowded. Like New York City with palm trees.
Hilo, Hawaii
We took volcanoes and taste of Hawaii excursion. Volcanoes part was excellent. Taste part was not "tasting" too much. Stopped at coffe and candy place. Limited free samples.
Kona
Did beach excursion. Beautiful beach but lava and rocky. Need beach shoes. There are free beach chairs but only 4 cabanas to rent. Relatively no shade.

Tip

Try to stay extra day in Oahu. If you want beach day, chose Maui . Kona beach is lava and rocky. Plus, there is a small beach in Kona right where the tender docks. Plenty of shopping and eateries right there. Might not even need shore excursion. We did Valley Isle excursions for road to Hana trip.
