Review summary

We enjoyed a wonderful trip on the Pride of America. It's not too large of a ship, and not overly fancy, however there was plenty to do. The cruise director and staff were very efficient and fun-loving. The food was tasty...not always warm in the Aloha Buffet though. Great service in the dining room was sporadic ... not something to be counted on!

Good review. So far the cruises I have been on have had a lot of sea days. Is there an adjustment to being in port that much? Do you spend more time on shore excursions than other cruises or is it a good blend of things to do on ship and shore?
