An ok Cruise
Pride of America Cruise Review to Hawaii
7 Night Hawaii (Honolulu Roundtrip)
Sail date: August 25, 2007
Ship: Pride of America
Cabin type: Oceanview
Traveled as: Family (young children)

Review summaryOverall the cruise was average. First the good things - the ship is new and has all modern features. The port itineary was very good leaving sufficient time on all ports. The service was pathetic. It seemed the staff did not care. While there was no rudeness or mistreatment - it was clearly different from other cruises we have experienced. There was no midinight buffet or special events. The food was ok. The entertainment was horrific. They had a magician (doing same tricks on 2 different occassions), a comedian (for 2 days) and dance show. There were hardly anything cultural about Hawaii and everything costs money including speciality restaurants. The shore excursions are mind numbingly expensive when Roberts Hawaii does it for half the price.
