Make reservations on the App as soon as you get on board. You don't need their wifi to use the App.

Relax the first few hours the ship is in port and avowed the crowds departing

The North Star costs money some times so reserve on free days

Don't go to Alaska the end of September and avoid Vancouver airport at all cost. Worst Airport ever and don't fly American Airlines.

Learn the layout before boarding

Don't go on the late September Alaska cruise - weather too unpredictable
bjindlk26
Be prepared to walk a lot

Book activities as soon as you get on the ship. We often got turned away because of full activities.

Use out door area at back of Windjammer. It's a nice place to eat when it's warm

Don't expect too much, there have been a lot of cut backs in areas. I think they want you playing bingo or in the casino because there isn't much to do otherwise.

Try all the different foods on offer in the Winjammer. Go on the dodgem cars for at least 2 hours and you will get a workout without going to the gym. Get up in the middle of the night and go out on the balcony to see the 🌝 moon and also get up at 5am to see the amazing sunrise. Mother Nature at its best. Walk around everywhere
Bajangirl
Book your times for dining ( if doing flexible dining) and specialty activities, like the ifly and North Star, as soon as you board
smdenton
Avoid spring (fall) break sailing

come in a couple of days early and explore Sydney as it is really not a port of call, just were you embark.
