Review summary

Physical distancing was the theme! Only 1800 people on the boat. I believe 4500ish is normal. I felt much safer on the boat than I did at the airport!

Embarkation

Easy getting on the boat. We were an hour early so we waited with the other early birds for about 30 minutes to let the lines clear out. Went through a couple different lines. First they check your Covid test and vaccinations record and give you a white band to show you are vaccinated. Then security and then you get you monitor bands that track your health status. Then we were on the boat!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food and drinks were good. We did not do the upscale restaurants and were happy. The solarium was a nice break from the main dinning. Lots of different foods that we normally don’t eat. We did enjoy all the attention we got in the main dinning and the solarium. The windjammer was just ok. The food was buffet served by employees.

Onboard Activities

The surfing, Rock climbing and bumper cars were all great! The pickleball sucked. No lines on the court , only 20 minutes allowed and you could not play with people not in your party for physical distance The rip cord and sky box thing were not operating. I assume because of physical distancing. Not sure

Entertainment

Pretty good, just felt like there should have been more. However, we did have something to do every night.

Constantly being cleaned!

Cabin / Stateroom

Great cabin! Location was almost in the back of the boat, so you felt like you walked a long way to your room. But very quiet!

Did the valet where they send your bags to the airport and on to your destination. Loved it! Got off the boat within 30 minutes of the projected time to leave. Woke up, Ate breakfast, went back to the room and waited to be called on the tv. Worked great!!
