Too small and cramped for 4 adult women to share .. 2 beds were ok but the pull out lounge bed was too hard and cramped for adults especially aging women to sleep on
However the room was serviced very well by Donny, our steward. It would also have been nice to have coffee satchels made available in our room too instead of just tea. I had to help myself to coffee satchels from other service trolleys along the passage way to our room, but having said that, erk that coffee was awful too
Ship tip
Take your own coffee and pack a first aid kit, a visit to the doctors is very costly for a dab of antiseptic and a bandaid
Did not do an excursion... enjoyed visiting the marketplace and the local islanders entertainment, followed by snorkeling on both sides of the island with my room mates ... had a wonderful day here
I’ve been here before so didn’t take a tour, although they are good to do. We ended up taking a local train ride but not a great way to explore for viewing.
Always love this port stop, again I’ve been here before so didn’t do any tours this time . We missed out on the motorcycle trike rides, so book it early. If you’re just wandering around as there is lots to see at the local markets in this little village of Piahai, and take a peek in the war memorial hall and support the ladies making their arts and crafts, some great value souvenirs
Took off our own luggage... very quick and easy... although be careful for pick pockets in the areas after you’ve departed the terminal area ... argh 😤 yes looking back after I got home I was missing a small document folder from over shoulder carry off bag. I was approached by a young friendly couple. Long story short I got picked but luckily only inconveniently had some keys in it no documents!!
