Review summary
Alaskan cruise is a must do, while I would not do it every year, I really enjoyed it. The fact that it was Quantum class ship made it even better.Embarkation
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
Chic
That was the worst service I have received in 7 RCI cruise. Lack of attention, have to ask multiple times for items, etc. Not horrible but we had so much better.
Solarium Bistro
Beats the windjammer any day in term of traffic and table availability.
Onboard Activities
FlowRider
Had a blast, of course we went of the coldest day of the cruise (mid 50ies). Water was heated. They were letting us stay longer than Caribbean cruise as once you are out of the water it was too chilly to go back in line.
RipCord by iFLY
Great time and fun activity.
Casino Royale
Spend a bit more time at the casino than we usually do. Non smoking section was better than other ships.
Entertainment
North Star
Went twice, once on embarkation day for free, then again on day 5 while at the glacier, at $49 a person it was a bit pricey but gave a spectacular view.
Two70 Lounge
Great location for an Alaskan cruise, get the enjoy the scenic views in a grande fashion.
SeaPlex
We love bumper cars, however, the nature of the cruise meant long lines for indoor activities.
Art Gallery
None on that ship :)
