Review summary

Embarkation soured us for the first few days of the cruise. Natural beauty overcame that. Keep your fingers crossed for weather. It makes a big difference. Entertainment was so bad that it overshadowed and otherwise excellent cruise.

Embarkation

3 hours to board the ship!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We used no specialty dining. Food in the main dining room was great. Lido for breakfast and lunch was excellent.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Fitness center was well equiped for a cruise ship. Hot tubs were enjoyable, along with the bath robes. Ping Pong was extra fun.

I agree that HAL has cut their entertainment budget so much it's hardly worth attending their "shows.".

I agree 3 hours to board is extreme, but to let it sour your first days is also extreme when you have such a awesome itinerary.
