Overall this was a fantastic vacation. We enjoyed ourselves immensely, both on board and at the various ports of call. The food was so good, regardless of the venue. We will definitely be booking future cruises on Holland America.

The food on the Holland America ms Oosterdam can only be described as fantastic. The dining room is like eating at a 5 star restaurant every night. The Pinnacle Grill and Canneletto. although and extra cost, are well worth it.

The room itself was spacious enough, with a comfortable queen bed and small sitting area. Our only issue is that we thought we were getting an unobstructed view but that was not the case. We could see a sliver of the ocean but mostly our view was of the lifeboats.
The port was nice with plenty of shops for tourists. We went on a snorkeling excursion which was very well done. The tour guides were extremely accommodating. The only issue is that we had to take a long (45 min) bus ride to get to the snorkeling excursion departure point.
This port was just OK. There were only a few overpriced shops for souvenirs. We did the Monkeyland excursion which was fantastic. However, once again the bus ride was long (1 hour each way).
