Review summary

The ship was beautiful, well maintained and staffed by friendly, warm people. The entertainment was first class and Glen, the Australian piano player in the Piano Bar was most enjoyable and fun. The aft pool deck was our favorite place to hang when we weren't being wined, dined or else ashore. Dave was an exceptional server and a delightful young man.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
A wonderful staff - always willing to do extra things above their required duty. Most were quite humorous and that was a great plus! We thoroughly enjoyed meeting them.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
All areas were well maintained, clean and easily accessible once we got our bearings.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Overall comfort was good but the cabin was rather cramped for 3 people. It was always clean and the bathroom was very nice.

Ports of call

Juneau, Alaska

We lucked out with warm sunny weather which made our side trips even better. The helicopter ride to the glaciers and the sled dog camp was spectacular. The pilot and the crew at the dog camp were all super!! Whale watching was marvelous as Orcas abounded! Friendly people made it all just great!!
Don't Miss: A reindeer sausage sandwich and a glass of Alaskan Amber beer at The Red Dog Saloon are not to be missed!!!

Sitka, Alaska

3 out of 5
A lovely town even in the rain.
Don't Miss: The old Russian church is a must to see.

Ketchikan, Alaska

3 out of 5
Picturesque docking area. Too many jewelry stores all trying to entice you in.

Pros: It is difficult to choose between the spectacular scenery, the warm and friendly staff and the fabulous food. Loved the Captain's sense of humor!

Cons: The cabin was a bit small for 3 people
