The ship itself was great !! I made a suggestion to one of the supervisors on the cruise, and that is to have a pamphet in each room indicating that it would be of the utmost expense to use the phone to call ANYWHERE !! even family for any reason, make sure you takea cell phone with you on board or you will be sadly surprised like we were.

stayed way too long in Sitka, not much to see, we were back on the ship in one hour

We were in Ketchikan for only a half day, we needed much more to see things. The time element should be changed with Sitka

Pros: meals and entertainment

Cons: the fact that they charged me over $200.00 to make a 1-800 call re my excursions

Recommends Oosterdam? Yes!
