Review summary
We are senior citizens and this being our first cruise we have nothing to compare it with. However, we loved every minute of it. We were impressed with the luxurious decor everywhere on the ship. The diningroom food was the quality you would find in the very best restaurants. The buffet was also excellent with a huge variety of food, and it was wonderfully prepared. The live entertainment was top notch. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The balcony was very comfortable too. We enjoyed getting an itinerary each morning of ship events, a flyer about the port we would be visiting and also a daily news report for US and also Canada. The staff was so friendly and extremely accommodating. The embarking and disembarking procedures were extremely organized as was everything else on the ship. Everywhere were automatic machines supplied with anti-bacteria lotion. The Casino was great and so were all the observation areas. The special food events were fabulous (Chocolate Extravaganza was one) We will certainly cruise on the Osterdam again or any of Holland America ships.Ship experiences
