As this was our first big cruise and we took our married children, we didn't know what it would be like. Everyone enjoyed the ship and some participated in more activities than others. It was a fun experience.

It was quick and easy.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We enjoyed the wide range of food choices available from all the included restaurants.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
As seniors, most of the activities were geared toward younger people. We went to a couple of the evening entertainment options. Mostly, we were very tired from our excursions and happy to relax after dinner in our stateroom.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
We enjoyed Gold Duo as they were entertaining. The Showgirl show had too many bright flashing lights toward the audience for us.
Children's Programs
We didn't have children with us.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our housekeeper was very nice and friendly. She remembered our adult children's names who were on the same hall with us.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Everywhere seemed clean which was greatly appreciated. For me, there could have been more restrooms available.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
We were very pleased with the layout of our cabin as well as the space available. We appreciated the extra storage spaces in the bathroom too.
Ship tip
Book a room in the middle of the ship if you have motion sickness.
The line to take the cable cars up to the top had a very long line and wait. Our excursion was interesting to see the countryside. We had a little time to shop too which was nice, and catch a bite to eat before returning to the ship.
As it was a very warm day, we had to quickly view Ephesus before returning to the shade trees. It was more crowded there and the walkway was difficult as the stones were large and uneven.
We enjoyed our tour guide but the countryside was not very scenic, too rocky for our taste. But it was interesting to see a lot of the island and what was there.
