Review summary

In overall royal caribean offers a good deal in terms of food/activities/ship quality, nevertheless for the first time I felt quality started to be compromised, for example: Gym operation hours very limited, sport equipment in bad conditions, restrooms closed, some few staff unfriendly and rude. To be honest in certain time I started to feel like I was in Carnival.

Disorganized, menus repeated, quality starting to be an issue

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Staff at Solarium pools were rude and unwelcoming

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Good entertainment

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
Boring, disorganized activities, unwelcoming, sport equipment in creepy conditions and bad quality

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Except by a few bad humor staff, the rest were amazing

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
I will recommend anyone to skip quantum class and go to oasis class, quality/price ratio not worthy

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Good cleanliness, but too basic in comfort products, ie., very limited hand soap, no conditioner, no face tissues.

Ship tip

I wouldn’t recommend to friends or family to sail on Odyssey, it’s better to move up to oasis class, ship designed is more limited and price is the same of bigger ships. Technological features does not worth the price and sports and activities are limited.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

1 out of 5
No information about port number, port infrastructure is dirty and crowded. Vicinities of the port are unsafe and full of homeless, not recommend if you are traveling without your own car or you need to rely on public transportation or services. At return, caos to take taxis and police at street shouting passengers because sidewalks were not big enough to hold them. It felt like third-world.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

Disembarkation

Poor facilities and over crowded, difficult to get a public transportation, uber were unreachable. I think port infrastructure is collapse.
