Review summary

We had an amazing time! Great experience overall. The ports were all great and all had a different feel. We had a slight delay getting into Naples because of a sailboat that was in need, so our ship stopped to help. However, the captain made sure to give us a little extra time in Naples because of the delay arriving. Would definitely recommend. My children are 10, 14, and 16 and also enjoyed the experience. Lots to do. Keep in mind, a lot of walking at the ports. I didn’t mind it since we did a lot of eating. A very memorable experience with Royal Caribbean!

Friendly and amazing staff form the room stewards to the dinning staff. Everyone had a smile on their faces and always willing to help.

Ship Quality

The art the ship has is stunning. The ship is clean and beautiful

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Surprisingly, our interior stateroom felt pretty roomy. The bed is extremely comfortable

Ship tip

Bring medication to help with motion sickness. The ship is huge, but there was one day at sea where we did feel the ship rocking.

Ports of call

Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy

5 out of 5
The port was easy to navigate. It’s about an hour or so away from the airport. About an 1.5 hours away from the main center of Rome.

Santorini, Greece

Keep in mind, when the ship arrives, in order to get to the town of Fira, you can either take a cable car up (the line is long since there are limited cable cars), take a donkey up for $10 a person which takes about 15 minutes to get all the way up, or walk 600 steps. My daughter and I decided to ride the donkey which was an interesting experience, but glad we did it. My husband and boys actually walked the 600 stairs which is doable, but exhausting. We did a private tour of Santorini. The town of Oia was breathtaking. A must see.

Kusadasi (Ephesus), Turkey

5 out of 5
Beautiful country. We walked the bazaar and we took pictures with a parrot and did a drone video of our family next to a castle. A resident of Kusadasi did it for us for a very good price.

Mykonos, Greece

5 out of 5
More on the expensive side, but Mykonos is beautiful and unique. Very windy here, but at least it wasn’t humid.

Naples, Italy

We did a private tour to the Amalfi Coast. Must see! Absolutely breathtaking.
